Bicol Regional Forum Against Political Dynasties

 

The People’s Initiative Coalition Against Dynasty (PICAD), together

with Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM), held a regional forum at Bicol

University in Legazpi City on May 8, Thursday. The forum’s speakers

include Ricardo Penson of PLM and District 3 Representative

Leni Robredo. Professor Arnold Mendoza presented the study of Asian

Institute of Management on the problems of political dynasties in the Philippines.


The Naga City People’s Council and representatives from various provinces in

the region (from Masbate, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon) joined in the

forum. A workshop of the different provincial delegations followed the forum.


PLM intends to intensify the activities against political dynasties in various

provinces and municipalities in the coming months.

PLM Forum in Balic-Balic, Manila

Barangay forum in Balic-Balic, Manila (Barangay 556,

District 4) on May 10 explaining political dynasty and the

people's initiative signature campaign sponsored by

PLM. The barangay forum was hosted by Ugnayan 3,

the Basic Ecclesiastical Community formation in

Balic-Balic, Manila. PLM will host more barangay forums in the months coming.
